If you have a big belly and you wonder how to get rid of your belly fat, there are a couple of things you can do.

First of all you need to know that the most important thing to do is to burn more calories than you eat.

Easier said than done.

Why? Because most people do not know how many calories their food has.

So, rule number one: Count calories.

Yes, I know. Nobody likes it. But you need to get a feeling for the food you eat every day. Iā€™m pretty sure it will astound you how many calories your favorite food actually has. If youā€™re aware of that, I bet you will think twice whether youā€™re going to eat that as often as you do right now.

What about beverages?

Beverages can contain a lot of sugar and sugar has a lot of calories. Ergo, avoid sugary drinks. Or at least donā€™t drink them every day.

When it comes to discipline always remember, it is easier not to eat chocolate at all than to eat just one piece.

So get it started. Right now. Download an app and jot down your intake of calories per day.

Itā€™s a good start, but doing that, is pretty much useless if you donā€™t know how many calories you burnā€¦
